Chocolate Chip Cookies for Two

INGREDIENTS
4 tbsp butter (softened)
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2/3 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup of chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat your oven to 350F.
2. Combine the softened butter, brown sugar, and egg, and whisk until well combined and slightly pale in color. If you don’t have time to wait for the butter to soften up, just put it in the microwave for 10 sec or until just barely starting to melt.
3. Add the flour, baking soda and as much chocolate chips as you’d like (I usually use 1/2 cup). Mix until just combined, but don’t overmix the batter or else the cookies will be very dense!
4. Scoop the cookie dough into ~ two large cookies, then bake for 10-12 min or until the edges are golden brown but the center is still a little soft. Don’t overbake the cookies! It’s always better to underbake than to overbake because the cookies will continue to cook a little as they cool on the baking tray. Let the cookies cool, then enjoy! :~)
